This is a Communications role within the Outreach team at UAL working across our colleges. Not everyone has equal opportunity to enter higher education. We want to change this through UAL Insights - our projects and programmes which support students as they progress to the next stage of their creative education. The Outreach Communications and Content Manager will work across the team with our community of students, graduates and tutors to communicate the story and values of our Insights programme.

This post is within UAL’s Outreach Department which supports the strategic aims of the university to improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education.
Educated to degree level or above, you will have experience of managing communications and content creation for young people.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about effective approaches to widening participation in arts, design and communication and how to effectively communicate using a range of digital and print resources to create key messages in an inclusive and accessible way.
The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to develop strong working relationships, communicate effectively across a diverse set of audiences, and negotiate with and influence important internal and external stakeholders.
