The role
We are looking to recruit a proactive, dedicated and motivated accountant to work in the University's London College of Communications (LCC). The role is a permanent position. The role is part of the LCC Finance Team which provides relevant and reliable financial and management information and customer focussed support to budget holders and other stakeholders across the College. This will include supporting the annual budgeting setting, quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting and relevant commentaries, in accordance with agreed timetables. In addition, the roles also support the development of financial transparency, accountability and engagement across the College by providing insightful analytical reporting, budget setting and general finance and administrative support.

Your Profile
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated and will be working towards a recognised professional accounting qualification. You will be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be motivated to use initiative or creativity to resolve problems.
You will have experience of financial planning, budget setting, forecasting, management accounts and variance analysis and be comfortable explaining explaining financial and management information to non-financial stakeholders.
You will possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word and have experience of a financial management information system (Agresso desirable).
