The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join UAL Future Creatives as we expand our programme which brings unique creative educational opportunities to children and young people around the UK.

Our courses are designed to allow students to enhance their art, design, creative thinking and communication skills in an inspiring and dynamic environment. Our courses are designed for children between the ages of 7 to 11 (primary), and 11 to 17 (secondary), and will be taught in different formats including after school, weekend, holiday programmes and online. We are looking for teachers who can commit to delivering all or part of a programme and are currently seeking teachers to be part of a flexible pool in St Albans (general Art and Design and/or Fashion) and or Online (Fashion illustration or Cartooning).

Why choose us?

The University of the Arts London (UAL) is recognised around the world as a leading institution for teaching and research in arts, design, fashion, communication, and the performing arts.

UAL: Future Creatives is part of UAL Short Courses Ltd (UALSC), the University’s wholly owned subsidiary delivering non-accredited short courses to members of the public, professional artists and designers and art and design students and prospective students. UALSC delivers courses to 17,000 learners annually and Future Creatives will play a major part in its future development.

UALSC has identified that creative education in formal and informal settings is significantly underserved in the current UK under-18s educational environment. UAL is intervening in this creative education market with Future Creatives programmes, designed to bring our approach to creative education to school aged children around the UK.
